I spent a great deal of formative time in the lands of XXXX and Steinlager. I love independent music and the south pacific - hence the program. I am an Archaeologist by trade, administrator by accident, and have been involved in campus and community radio for over ten years.

I completed a B.A. at York University in Toronto and currently I am completing my M.A. at the University of Manitoba while I work at Frantic Films as a Visual Effects Producer. I'm working on a Masters degree in Anthropology and specializing in Archaeology. Archaeology, for those you who think you know, but then compare me to Ross on friends, is the study of ancient civilizations - NOT DINOSAURS !
Check out the University of Manitoba and find out exactly what the university is about. The focus of my thesis is an integration of Geographic Information Systems and spatial studies in Archaeology (basically, I'm studying how prehistoric people used space - where they ate, slept, drank beer etc).

Work:
I work at Frantic Films as a Visual Effects Producer and have recently been involved in a number of film and television projects including The Core and The Italian Job., and recently Paycheck.
My best friend John died of brain cancer a short while ago. To the left is a picture of John and myself. Every year a group of John's friends commemorate his passing by riding our mountain bikes along the Trans-Canada Trail. John loved the outdoors and I can't think of a better way to honour his memory than taking part in an activity he loved.
We all miss you John.
  I race mountain bikes in Manitoba (which is a bit ironic to some as we don't have very big mountians here). What we lack in mountains we make up for in HILLS and since I race cross-country this is just fine. A couple of years ago Manitoba was host to the Pan-American Games where many of the top level mountain bike riders from the Americas came to race. I still live with Elise who continues to be both a source of inspiration and anxiety.
